Opening backup files

Hey, I need to check several Enpass backup files to see if I can retrieve login info for an online account I haven't accessed in a while. The login info is not in the current Enpass database. Whenever I launch Enpass it opens the current database. How can I prompt it to open a backup file?

I do NOT want to replace or corrupt the current database in any way. I just need to read the old file to see if the info I need can be retrieved.

Welcome to the forum!

To do so, you can create a new vault by using the below steps and then you may restore those database from the local backup file.

  • Open Enpass > Click on 'Settings' > Click on 'Vault' > Tap on '+' to create a new vault.
