autofill with shortcut not working in Brave

Featured Replies

I want to leave 1Password and move to Enpass, but when using Brave as browser and the autofill option only works with some websites, but not with others ... very disappointing

Hi @agno

Welcome to the Enpass community!

Since Brave browser is a chromium based browser, autofill should work on it. Please share the list of the websites on which it is not working for you and I'll be happy to get them checked.

thanks for that, I have played around and found out that the problem is slightly different... the shortcut for autofill is to blame, not the Browser

there seems to be an issue with the Apple (in my case MacBook Pro, macOS Big Sur Version 11.5.2) keyboard and Enpass, I had to test several different shortcuts to eventually find one that works,

it is (for me) a very awkward one and I would prefer using something else, but some keys are just not accepted in some browser, f.e. the key '#', why is that???

 Hi @agno

Enpass does not allow "#" as an extension shortcut for autofill in keyboard layout as it considered as a secondary key by the key capture library used currently. Please let us know if you are unable to use other key too and which keyboard layout are you using.
