Nextcloud Sync shows wrong password

Featured Replies

Hi there,

since Nextcloud version 26.0.1 i get a sync problem with enpass: it shows "wrong password" when connecting.
The same Problem appears if i try to connect to the Nextcloud server via WebDAV too.

The Nextcloud server runs on debian 11.7. the Nextcloud version is 26.0.1 (and now 26.0.2)

Enpass shows the same error on:

OSX (version: 6.8.6)
Linux PopOS (version: 6.8.5)
IOS (Version 6.8.7)

Hope there is a Fix on the horizon!

Thank you so much!

Hi @pcace

For troubleshooting purposes, please try the below steps and share your findings with me -

  1. Disconnect the synchronization from all the connected devices. Then, delete the Enpass data saved on the Nextcloud account and enable synchronization again first on the device with the most recent data and then on the rest of the devices by following the steps in this link. Also, try restarting your Nextcloud server.
  2. Ensure that you have allowed access to Enpass in your Firewall/Antivirus Settings. Moreover, if you are using any VPN service, try disabling it to check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, please share the below details -

  1. The exact version of the OS you are using on your devices.
  2. Kindly create a Demo account and DM me its username, URL and password for a thorough analysis of this concern.

Hi, thanks for your reply! It fixed it self when removing the Vault from nextcloud and then importing a backup. Strange, but fixed!

Thanks.
