Enpass 6 - No import option?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just had a look on Enpass 6 Beta 6.0.0 (41) - and I did not find an import function for vaults from other password managers like 1Password.

Enpass 5.6.x had a major problem as it did not import 1Password vault correctly. But now, the development went a step back as there is no import function anymore.

Regards,

Area

Well I think it's a bit dumb that I can't import to Beta cause how I should test the beta than? So I think import will return but in a later state of beta..  hopefully we are able to enable it via a command switch to test or something

Hey guys,

We know that importing the data from some of the password managers was a bit of a rocky road in the previous. However, we're going to introduce a whole new importer in the next beta for the Windows (within a few hours) and can assure you that the new import functionality will be a lot smoother.

Cheers!

Hey,

well the problem is that I cannot TEST Enpass 6 if I dont have any passwords to TEST it with. So pleae include a Enpass 5 Import function!

Hi @Robin D

Thanks for writing in.

Please have a look at the post here to know how to restore the Enpass 5 data to the latest version 6.

Cheers!

This is great thank you!! :-)

since newest update yesterday the UI is incredibly small possibly due to DPI - any fix for that as well?
