Samsung biometric recognition still doesn't seem to work on my Samsung tab S4 which doesn't have any fingerprint recognition, even on version 6 running Oreo 8.1. This would be much appreciated

I'm using note 9 on Android pie and iris scanner still doesn't work, many other apps support this including Google pay, Paytm ,credit and many many more

I have the Galaxy Tab S4 and am running the latest version of the app 6.0.6.200. I do not see how to enable the facial recognition for the app. I am able to say a PIN and I gave the app full access with the "Accessability" section of the tablet, but no go. Am I missing something?
