November 8, 20187 yr After upgrading to Ubuntu 18.10 I cannot use enpass helper anymore, because it will close right after I click on it or alt+tab to it (or if it gains focus in any other way). This issue is happening for me on KDE Plasma (version 5.13.5). It was working fine before update (on Plasma 5.12.4).
November 15, 20187 yr Author I've found out source of the problem: enpass helper has _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_SPLASH in window types. That causes on KDE to hide window after clicking it. This window class should be removed or changed to something else to fix that problem. It also fixes problem that helper window is showing up at the middle of the screen instead of next to the mouse pointer. Edited November 15, 20187 yr by GwynBleidD
November 16, 20187 yr Author If you're using KDE, here is quick workaround that works for me: Go to System Settings -> Window Management -> Window Rules Add new rule defined as on screenshots: Save new rule Click apply on settings page Test if now enpass helper is going away after clicking on it (it shouldn't). You can test it either in browser or by clicking on enpass icon on system tray
November 28, 20187 yr Unfortunately the new beta update did not fix this problem, so you still need to do this workaround. With the new beta however, you will need to to use the application class enpass instead of enpass6.
