Thanks for this, very, very helpful! Enpass is totally the best password manager out there IMO. But, I would counter with, Enpass allows you to backup your database to Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.. I know it is different in how Enpass stores and writes your data but if they are giving users the same options with your data that Lastpass and RoboForm do by default isn't that in itself the same thing ? I would have thought with Edge getting better and the fact that they now support extensions that Enpass would find a way to programmatically make this work.

How is it lastPass and Robo:Form can have extensions in Edge at this point but Enpass.io doesn't ? Is there some technical feat that needs to be accomplished here or is Enpass just waiting for Microsoft to do it for them ?

Not true at all. Microsoft is moving towards Edge and using that going forward. Your essentially telling these developers to waste their time developing to support something that Microsoft isn't even going to support down the road.
