Does the Chrome Extension Actually Work for Anyone?

Featured Replies

HI, I have been using Enpass for some time now, I have been waiting for that magic moment when the Chrome Extension starts working.

Does it work for anyone?

I have Windows 10 Home on 1 machine and Window 10 Pro on another.

I assume I have the latest Chrome browser installed since I think it auto-updates itself.

I use Super Anti-Spyware (free version) and Sophos Home Antivirus.

The extension doesn't ever work on either machine. All I ever see is the Connection Error. I have paid for pro version of Enpass for Android and would like some sort of step by step tutorial how to get it working.

Hi @CaptainBDSC,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I would like to let you know that Enpass extension communicate to Enpass over localhost address.  Please see if you antivirus is interfering the localhost(127.0.0.1) connections. One link I found on web to allow localhost connection in Sophos antivirus is https://support.asperasoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/216126878-Connect-browser-plugin-does-not-work-with-Sophos-antivirus-web-control

Hope this helps!

Chrome Extension works fine for me, but I'm on Mac OS, not Windows 10.

I just  moved back to FF, but it worked fine here in Linux Mnt
