Auto theme option

Featured Replies

Could you please add Auto or System default mode for theme, so the app can follow theme currently set in the system? This way it will be possible to use light/dark theme automatically depending on the theme in the system itself.

Hi @sviperz and @renz,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I have duly noted your feedback and it has been forwarded to our concerned team for further consideration.

@sviperz, @renz,

Our backend team informed me that this feature has been implemented in our recent updates. Please upgrade the Enpass app to its latest version and let me know what you find. Refer to this link.

Howdy! I'm a linux user and was hoping we could also have this feature utilize dbus?

$ dbus-send --session --print-reply=literal --reply-timeout=1000 --dest=org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop /org/freedesktop/portal/desktop org.freedesktop.portal.Settings.Read string:'org.freedesktop.appearance' string:'color-scheme'
variant       variant          uint32 0

discussed here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/xdg-desktop-portal-gnome/-/issues/46

This page discusses the options provided by 0, 1, and 2.

I believe this is the going standard as freedesktop.org seems to be the standard/implemented everywhere and provides a specification.

My request is that the app enpass if configured to use a auto theme, switch between light and dark mode. Most importantly it doesn't require restarting the application to enforce a new mode. I believe this feature is already available on other platforms. TIA! Love your app ❤️
