January 24, 20206 yr Dear Team! i used Enpass on iOS, stored the data not in cloud but locally on phone and Got a new iPhone. i installed the new iPhone from iCloud backup. enpass works and asks for master Passwort. i am 99,9% sure about the password but enpass does not accept. is it possible that it’s broken? Is the local data stored in the iCloud iPhone backup ? what shall I do ? thanks in advance waterloo
January 27, 20206 yr Hi @Waterloo, Sorry for the inconvenience. Please make sure you are using the correct master password by checking the caps lock off. Also, try copy and pasting your master password in the password field to check if that works. If the problem persists, please share some more info so that we can check further. On which all devices (along with OS version) are you using Enpass? Which Enpass version are you using on each device? Which cloud services are you using? Does your master password contains any special character? Are you able to access all your data on any other device?

It's not stored anywhere separately, however, master password is encrypted along with Primary vault's data. In that case, reinstall the app from the store, else, I'll suggest you create a new vault with the same master password and then restore the backup file (make sure you already have one before). Restore backup file
