I recently switched from android to ios. I purchased enpass pro on android in 2018. how could I upgrade my enpass ios to pro? I thought if I purchased pro before I could use it on any platform

Yes, you can restore your purchase on the iOS device, but you need to register as a pro user on any Android device. For more details, have a look at this FAQ.
