March 21, 20206 yr Hello, I'm using Enpass Version 6.0.1 on my MacBook. After a software update, I wanted to start enpass. I was first asked to allow Enpass access to my documents, which I thoughtlessly denied. Now of cause it does not connect to my account and can't recognize my password. How can I allow access now? I never made a backup elsewhere. So I can only use the data enpass stores in my documents. I tried to just download a later version, but for a setup was asked for a password to my backup, so couldn't solve the problem that way. /: Kind regards, Charlotte
March 23, 20206 yr @charlotte why don't you try re-installing the app and this time enable access to document for Enpass.
March 23, 20206 yr Author Hi Samuela, I didn't find the 6.0.1 version on this site. Hence tried the current version, but failed due to not having a back-up with the required password.
March 24, 20206 yr Hi @charlotte Thanks for using Enpass and writing to us. Please confirm if you remember the master password of the vault's data or have you forgotten the password? Also, is there any other device on which you are able to access Enpass data? Thanks.
