Where can I find the steps to update the software (this is on my PC)? I get to the step where there is a zip folder. I double click on it and I get the message that it is running and must close enpass instan es. So I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong in the process. Where can I get steps on how to update - what to do with the zip folder? Thanks!

No, you're doing it right. But in order to update, you've to make sure that Enpass is closed and not running in the background. So please open Task Manager and look for Enpass there and if it's running, quit it from the system tray and try again.
