October 3, 20178 yr So awesome to see Enpass support on CrOS. Thanks for the hard work! One issue I'm seeing is that I often use my Chromebook (Google Pixel 2015) in docked mode (lid closed connected to an external display). When the lid is closed, the Enpass window is completely black. If I open my lid, the window will jump to my laptop's screen and I can see it again. Not sure if the app just needs to be built with a more up-to-date API level (CrOS is running Android 7.1.1). My Chromebook is on beta channel 9765.73.0.
October 5, 20178 yr Hey @pilot006 Thanks for sharing your concern. I've noted it down in the bug tracker to be fixed in any of the upcoming updates. Cheers!
March 14, 20188 yr Hi, I have the same problem on my acer R13 chromebook. When will this be fixed? Regards Steve
March 15, 20188 yr Hey @sing_stevee Please try enabling the Allow Screenshots in Enpass advanced settings and let me know if that helps. Cheers!
October 21, 20187 yr Hi @Akash Vyas I have a Chromebox from Acer. Obiously it doesn't have an "internal" screen like a Chromebook has so the only screen is attached via HDMI. I also have the black screen issue but I can't even reach the settings - is there any way to still work with the app? Regards, Florian
July 27, 20196 yr I am experiencing the same issue on Acer Chromebox. Black screen issue. Workaround is to use Linux version - enable Linux support in settings. Then follow https://www.enpass.io/support/kb/general/how-to-install-enpass-on-linux/ to install Enpass for Ubuntu. Stay in sudo mode and run apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx. If you need Dropbox support, where redirection does not work from Chrome, install firefox. apt-get install iceweasel.
