the documentation implies there is an import txt feature for eWallet Data, but unfortunately I'm not able to find this in the current App.

How do I import an txt file exported from eWallet?

Welcome to the forum! 
Enpass does not have any option to import from eWallet. You can, however, import data from other password managers and from a CSV file as mentioned in the user guide here.

In this case the enpass Team should update their documentation, because eWallet is listed here:

and this tells that I'm able to import txt files:

As we can check, the user manual links you have shared are for the older version of Enpass Portable (version 5.5). You can find the user manual for the latest version of Enpass Portable here.

Let us know in case you are using the older version of Enpass Portable.
