Constant "Attachment is on the way!" message on some files...

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am having issue with opening some of the attachment i have added. I am using Enpass on two devices. One is Windows 11 24H2, where i have Enpass installed from the Microsoft Store. Second one is Android 14, Enpass installed from Play Store. Some of the files which i am adding on Windows device cannot be opened on Android as i get "Attachment is on the way!" and no matter how i wait, how many times i sync the vault on both deices, I always get the same message. On Windows machine i can open all attachments with no issues. Only Android version of Enpass is affected. I have that issues since a around two years. I cannot figure out what is wrong as most of those files are just text files. I have checked encoding and both, working and non-working are UTF-8 encoding. I have tried ANSI encoding of text files but that does not help. I am happy to generate working, and non working attachment if someone from Enpass support woudl like to investigate the issue. Kindlu, i am asking for help. I am using Enpass Pro.

I've reported this issue to the technical team. They are currently investigating it, and I will reach out to you with updates as soon as I receive them.

Having exact same issue. Files are images. Can open fine in Windows, but on Android device, just get 'Attachment is on the way!'.

I see this has been reported back many years. In some cases it was due to password change. I changed which web service I sync with a short while ago so that may be same scenario as password change. So I just uninstalled the mobile app, then reinstalled and reconnected the vault sync to web service, and now that problem has gone away, I can view my attachments on my mobile.
