June 26, 2025Jun 26 I am using Google Drive to hold my vault/data. Where can I look to see evidence that Enpass is storing data on my cloud drive ? I don't care about the data itself, of course, but I would expect to see some file placement or transaction log. Enpass itself seems to running just fine and I have confirmed that my Google account has connection access for Enpass as a 3rd party app.
June 27, 2025Jun 27 Enpass stores its vault in a hidden app-specific folder on Google Drive, so it won’t appear in your main "My Drive." To confirm its storing data: Go to drive.google.com and click the Settings icon. Select "Settings" > "Manage Apps." Find Enpass in the list. If you see the option "Delete hidden app data," it confirms Enpass is storing data on your Drive. This indicates that syncing is active, even if the files aren't directly visible.
June 27, 2025Jun 27 Author Yes!, the Drive Connected App entry for Enpass shows the "Delete hidden app data" option, and that entry also shows "Hidden app data: 96KB". Thanks for your response and the great service.
