December 14, 2025Dec 14 I recently tried to install enpass from the flathub and found a problem where the extension cannot connect to the enpass installed. I tried playing around with Flatseal but can't figure out what the issue is. I did eventually install it using the instructions provided by Enpass, but the instructions is outdated and I have to modify the instructions to use the new DEB822 format.
December 15, 2025Dec 15 Thanks for pointing this out. We do not recommend or promote installing Enpass from third-party sources. For security and stability reasons, Enpass should only be downloaded from our official website or via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Installing the app from other sources (such as Flatpak or unofficial repositories) is not supported and may lead to unexpected issues.
January 27Jan 27 That's great, if it was possible to install Enpass from your official website. Certainly, it does not work for RHEL 10, see https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/31853-enpass-installation-fails-on-rhel-10/And there has not been a fix now in months nor an update of Enpass for Linux since July 28, 2025.The only way for most people is installing Enpass through Flatpak or other sources. Meanwhile a bunch of rando's are left picking up your slack and having to cater for your customers because simply refuse too.How long do you think it will be until something gets exploited and ultimately makes Enpass look bad?
Thursday at 01:05 AM5 days It seems like the simplest solution for you would be to supply fully functional enpass via flatpak or appimage which could be installed on any linux system and not have to have multiple versions for the various different distros.
