Enpass Assistant copies the wrong password to clipboard

Featured Replies

After this latest update, copying a password from Enpass Assistant (the mini window) copies the wrong password to your clipboard. It seems to be visually updating the list of passwords when you search for an account but not logically updating the list, so when you copy a password it copies the password of the first entry in the default list without a search query rather than copying the first search result's password. Happens on both Windows and macOS.

To reproduce:

  1. Bring up the mini window/Enpass Assistant using either the system wide hotkey or the menu bar/system tray icon.

For clarity, let's say the first entry in the list is "Account 1".

  2. Search for "Account 2", some other account that isn't the first entry when you first open the Assistant.

  3. Use the ctrl+shift+p or cmd+shift+p hotkey to copy the password for "Account 2", which is now the first entry in the list.

  4. Dismiss Enpass Assistant.

  5. Paste the password.

Expected behavior: the pasted password belongs to "Account 2". This was the behavior before this update.

Actual behavior: the pasted password belongs to "Account 1".

Note that this doesn't happen when you right click on the entry and copy the password using that menu, it only happens when using the keyboard shortcut.
