Firefox extension not working on MacOS HighSierra

Featured Replies

For several days/weeks (I don’t know since when) the extension does not work with Firefox nor with Safari. When pressing the Enpass icon in the toolbar nothing happens, i.e. no error message, no password request.

MacOS: High Sierra 10.13.6

Firefox version: Quantum 62.0.3

Safari: Version 12.0

Enpass: 5.6.11

Enpass Password Manager extension for Firefox: 5.5.2

I deleted the Extension, installed it again from the Enpass homepage, restarted firefox nothing works. In Enpass itself the browser extension is activated.

On an iMac with OS Mojave everything works fine.

Hey @Vallaria

Sorry for the trouble you are going through.

I will really appreciate if you can perform following troubleshooting steps and share the output via support@enpass.io

Verify from the 'Activity Monitor' if an executable with the name 'Enpass Helper' is running. If yes, please run this command in the terminal and share the results:

  • lsof -i:10391

Where 10391 is the port number and if there is no output (blank), please try with other port numbers between 10391 to 10395.

Thanks for your co-operation.
