I have a Mac running El Capitan.  I have installed Enpass, desktop version, on the Mac.  I am running Chrome 53 and the Enpass icon is greyed out.  If I click on the icon, I get a Enpass connection error.    

The setting "Enabled browser extensions" is already checked and "verify browsers" is checked as well.  In Chrome the extension is enabled as well. 

How do I fix this problem?

Sorry to hear about your trouble. In order to use Enpass Browser extension, please make sure Enpass is running in the background. For more details please have a look at user manual link how Enpass browser extension works.

If your problem still persists, please provide some more details like Enpass version/Firewall/third party network security/ any security related Extension or Proxy are you using, so that we can investigate where the problem could be.
