Import .enpassbackup file

Dear Enpass Support,

I created a backup file to save my data. As I am now trying to import the .enpassbackup file, I can only import files from other applications or a pre-formatted CSV. How do I restore the .enpassbackup file that was created?

I just realized, that I posted in the wrong section. The problem appears on OS, not on iOS. 

Hey @vivien,

Sorry for the trouble you are going through.

 In v6 'Restore' option appears only in two scenarios:

  • When the app is newly/freshly installed.
  • Creating a new vault. (The app is already installed and contains database).

Please have a look at our user manual to know how to restore the backup file.

Chrome (Android)

  3. Adjust your preference.
