The current version of Enpass is 6.4.1. The Enpass Portable version is still 6.0.7. When will the portable version be developed further?

Unfortunately, I can't run the Windows v6 portable Enpass on my work laptop (Windows 10 Professional x64) - I have two errors pop up when I start the portable app: "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Hi there, is Enpass Portable (beta 6) still working? I can't sync with my OneDrive anymore (the same vault in my home Windows PC and Android 9). I reseted (both, PC and Portable) but Portable creates a new Enpass folder in OneDrive.

How to activate the Pro version in portable?

WIll there be a Beta of Enpass 6 Portable soon? I would love to test Enpass on all my plattforms (Windows, iOS, Mac), but I don't have admin rights on my office-notebook (Windows).

Currently (Jan 8, 2017), there is a 5.4 release for Mac and Windows and Linux, but the "Portable" version of EnPass is still at version 5.3 Does the Portable version need an update? Release notes ( https://www.enpass.io/release-notes/macosx and https://www.enpass.io/release-notes/windowspc/ ) seem to suggest no "major" issues missing from Portable, but I'm still left wondering.

well it would be great if you wouldnt always need to select the folder and just keep everything nicely contained in the enpass folder, could it be possible to make an option for that?

Hi, My Enpass database is hosted on an external ownCloud account and is synced between multiple iOS and OSX devices which works fine. Now I tried to use Enpass Portable on a Windows 7 PC without admin rights. Syncing works fine so far but none of the attachments in the database will be synced to this portable installation. Furthermore the portable Version itself does not offer a field for attachments. Is it a bug or a feature ? Unfortunatelly I can't use it without this functionality. Cheers, Ralf

So i want to use enpass portable but i have a few questions. What i don't understand is this, Enpass portable is just an app whose executable files just lie in the usb flash drive in order for you not having to install it every time in every new computer and only to launch it directly from the usb? Why does Enpass portable need to save my Enpass database in a ceratin location in the computer? What happens to those files saved from Enpass portable if i remove my enpass portable usb? Does Enpass portable always need to load my passwords from the cloud in new computers, because it is self understanding that in new and temporary computers i have no record of my password datab…

why is that file in my user folder? isnt the whole point of a portable application that it is ENTIRELY contained in its application folder? This also heavily relates to the issue that enpass cant just do its database file automatically in its own folder.

portable enpass isnt bad and I must say that I likt it but one option would be intresting: an option to not store a db file on the medium and only use the cloud backup in the RAM. this can be used for example that you can keep enpass on a read only medium which by definition cannot be compromised (okay you can screw updates but can still be great considering that there are usb viruses and whatnot which cannot get on the disc. This obviously is meant only as an option but is in my opinion still better than lastpass and stuff because you choose where the DB lies.
