  1. I am having the same issue with an Android restore as another user is having with IOS.

I use ubuntu linux on desktop side and as my master enpass vault.
after erasing everything on Android, I am trying to restore from the Linux backup file.
but enpass Android does not recognise the master password of the backup file. - I am no longer able to use enpass on the mobile now.
very frustrating because I depend on the passwords when I am away from my desk.

does the backup file have a different password than the one where it was created?

I tried following the instruction manual for backup and restore, but the screen on the new Android installation is not exactly the same as in the instruction manual.
it also only has one option on the Android: ' I am a new user" - why?  I don't quite understand, since I am not a new user, there ought to be an option for user with an existing vault to restore from.

all this started because of Android sync over local folder is frustrating and did not work / but that is a separate topic.

  3. same here for me - setting up a new log in any random website, including this very enpass forum site as well, I don't receive any prompt from enpass. so I fill out each field and ask enpass desktop to generate a password for copy/paste into the website account creation. at least the desktop app lets me copy the password. if I use the enpass browser ext. to generate a password it won't place it onto the clip board and it will often only fill one field, not both. and then it will be complicated to hand type all the info to create a new entry in enpass desktop app. rather awkward and lengthy.
and, last but not least - it would be rather helpful to have an instruction page on this or enpass site, explaining how to do these simple things instead of letting a newbie struggle and possibly toss the whole enpass app, choosing lastpass instead.

I am using - firefox 50.0 on linux ubuntu 16
I have still yet to decide if I keep enpass and pay for the android extension.
