Is it possible to add support for remote sync via ssh protocol? rsync-like or scp?

I think, it would be better if attachments (files) would be saved in a separate encrypted database (linked by a record id with main?). It will keep main data file small enough and syncronization will be faster, as attachments aren't changed often.
