    So if you get this problem, here is how I fixed it:

    I moved directory ~/Documents/Enpass to ~/Documents/Enpass2

    then I reinstalled version 6.0.7 and opened it. Reinstalling it recreates the ~/Documents/Enpass folder.

    It opens a fresh instance of Enpass with no user 

    From there you can import from a backup. Your backups are in ~/Documents/Enpass2/Backups

    select the last backup file , it will ask for your original password
