ceezit Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 (edited) Previously in Enpass you could select© the password field while in the process of generating passwords. I found this useful while making accounts online, to test if they worked before saving an entry in the vault. In the current revision of Enpass(6.2.0) it is no longer possible to select the password field while creating or editing a login. Is there any way to enable this option, or make it behave like the previous versions of Enpass? Edited September 28, 2019 by ceezit 1
Klaus Heim Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 I would like to join in and support the suggestion. I also miss this opportunity. Please restore the original functionality.
springbok Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 One of the previous versions of Enpass kept a history of the old passwords for a login. That was handy on some websites which require both the old and the new password when changing the password. Many times I have already generated the new password on Enpass, but when I switch back to the website it then also asks for he old one and then I'm stuck because I don't have the old one available anymore. Sure, you can (if you remember) save the old password in the notes field yourself, but it would be really handy if you don't need to perform that step.
