Omajiro Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 So somehow Windows Hello only unlocks Enpass once it's running. If you close the application and open it again, it prompts you for your master-password again without the option to use Windows Hello. That takes away the usefulness of Windows Hello. Now it's more of a quick unlock for as long as the database is open. Why doesn't Enpass just use the Platform Crypto Provider to store the passphrase permanently? That way the user never has to type their passphrase again. I'm sure it's possible as can be seen using this demo app https://github.com/Angelelz/Pass4Kee Or this (great!) app https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NBLGGH3T7G3 1
