    Just expressing my interest in this to help you prioritize. I am often using my MBP with lid closed which disables Touch ID. Falling back to Apple Watch in that case would be super appreciated Thanks for all your hard work!

    So you're not going to do anything for the lifetime people other than giving the option to hide the banner. Gotcha.

    Thanks same here once I quit it completely (closed in top bar) and restartet it there was a request to use touch ID. Also I had not checkt autostart. Had to quit from top menu apple+q and restart to trigger this. I think it needs to request the access once. That explains why some users had it working.
