How to change "cmd+/" shortcut

Featured Replies

Hi, is it please possible to change "cmd+/" shortcut in Safari to something else? Same shortcut is used also for commenting in code editors (like jupyterlab), and it is not very nice to have it always opening also enpass browser option window.

Thanks!

Hi @Matt52

Welcome to the Enpass community!

You can change the shortcut "CMD+/" on your MAC. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Enpass application installed and follow the steps in this link.  Let me know if after changing the shortcut, is it still opening the Enpass Extension Setting page?

Hi @Abhishek Dewan,

thanks for reply. That was something I was even trying myself. My current setup is like this:

image.thumb.png.3792ee1201db8e79534bc19323dde434.png

Yet, it is still activated with cmd+/

I came here to look for this exact issue. I have used the extension for a long time but didn't have this issue until recently. Same issue with chrome and firefox. Setting the shortcuts does not change the behavior.

Hi @Matt52

Thanks for the screenshot. It helps us to understand the concern better.

From the screenshot, I can see that under the Enpass Extension Setting, no shortcut key has been assigned to 'Autofill or show Enpass'. So would request you to please type in your own preferred browser-specific shortcut key rather than CMD+/. Do let me know if this works.
