Two annoying bugs

Hi Enpass team, 

there are two bugs making me mad day by day...

1. While working in the office, I am locking my computer a dozen times. Randomly, after unlocking my computer and trying to unlock Enpass as well, it is saying "Wrong master password". I am forced to end Enpass by tray icon context menu option or by task manager. Otherwise, it will not work.

2. I am running Enpass 6.11.4 (1801) on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 with an external display (5120x2160, scaled on 125%) and two vaults (default (unused) and a second one synced via Dropbox). Sometimes Enpass stucks, even freezes... it feels like it is doing it while syncing automatically or manually, especially after syncing new items or changing something in the newly synced item.

Do you have any idea how to solve that? It drives my crazy.

Please install the latest version of the Enpass app (version 6.11.5) on your device. Once done, please share your feedback with us.

I have installed the latest version 6.11.6 (1833) and related to my bug no. 2 mentioned above, it feels a little bit more fluent. But just a few minutes ago, I had a similar bug: I have copied one item to another vault on my smartphone. Same time, Enpass on my computer was locked by itself (due to time limit). Unlocking took a little longer than usually and after it was unlocked, it stumbled like hell including the title bar saying "App is not reacting anymore". But after a few seconds, it recovered itself.

Regarding bug no. 1, I will keep an eye on it and will let you know, if it has improved.

I've reported this issue to the technical team. They are currently investigating it, and I will reach out to you with updates as soon as I receive them.

thank you for your support.

Regarding bug no. 1, unfortunately the bug still occurs. I have also opened Notepad and entered the password in clear text - no typo (through driver problems or something else).

Could you kindly provide the following information:

  • The total number of items and attachments stored in your Enpass vaults.

Additionally, for testing purposes, please try the following:

  • Disable your internet connection and use the Enpass app to check if the freezing issue still occurs.
  • Alternatively, let us know if the app only freezes or gets stuck when syncing is triggered.
