September 26, 2025Sep 26 I did the impossible and when I changed my password, I successfully changed it to something other than what I had thought I typed in. And thanks to Enpass you can’t actually see what you’ve typed in. So now it’s permanently lost to me. I followed instructions, delete the Enpass app, deleted the vault on OneDrive. And then thought I would be able to restore from a previous backup. There is no ‘restore from backup’ function that I can see. So does this mean I’ve lost absolutely everything? I’m desperate.
September 29, 2025Sep 29 I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing. Enpass does provide a way to restore your data from a backup. Please follow the steps in our detailed guide here: How to Restore Data from Backup This article walks you through restoring your vault from a previously created backup file. If you face any difficulties while restoring, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist further.
November 19, 2025Nov 19 If you delete a vault and don't have a separate backup file outside of OneDrive, Enpass won't be able to restore it. There's no built-in cloud history restore feature. You definitely need a backup or exported vault, otherwise, unfortunately, your data will be lost.
