Cloud Sync

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Nextcloud 19 WebDAV synchronisation. I use the latest Android and Linux version of Enpass with password and key file. After less then one day the sync is broken and Enpass claims that the password for the WebDAV data is required. I already disconnected all devices, deleted the file on the Nextcloud Server and even exported everything to a csv file and created a new password vault. Unfortunately with the same result. After a few hours the sync is broken again. Is that a bug or a known problem with the latest Nextcloud version? Thanks in advance Alex

I had a very strange problem happen today. I noticed that Enpass was no longer syncing with OneDrive. When I told it to sync, it seemed to connect to OneDrive OK, but then said the (master) password on the file was incorrect. This was a bit strange because I had not changed the password on the file. I checked the Enpass client on several PCs plus my mobile device and they all had the same issue. However the local copies of Enpass still allowed me to get in with the same master password that I have always used and that should have been on the file up on OneDrive. Hi, I need your help. I want to sync my database with / on my Synology NAS but I don't get it. On the Synology I installed WebDAV like here: https://www.synology.com/en-global/knowledgebase/DSM/tutorial/File_Sharing/How_to_access_files_on_Synology_NAS_with_WebDAV On Enpass I use the path http://192.168.178.25:5005/Enpass/ and the user and password from my Synology-user. I don't get an error or something. It just didn't do anything (on Windows PC or Android). On Android I just see the rotating circle and on Windows PC just "connect" is shown. What's wrong? Hello, I upgraded to 6.0 today and was really looking forward to the vault feature in the hope that one vault would be shared while the other would not. My setup consists of 3 windows devices and 2 android devices (each with their own PRO licence). I managed to generate the new vault but when I come to tell it to sync to the same google drive location I get an error telling me that this is not possible. In my opinion the name of the first vault was system generated while 2nd vault onward require a name. Can't this name be used to generate a unique file name? Thanks and Regards,

Hi Since a week or so Enpass is loosing contact to iCloud Drive and I have to reauthenticate it all the time. I believe it is since the suppl. update for 10.15.4. Does anybody have a solution? Guido

Love the new look, hate not having my sync. Not sure what's happening. I setup my sync and the app directs me to the dropbox login and when I give permission to access the sync folder, I get a sync error. "Something went wrong while syncing with Dropbox. Error code: 208035" Any ideas to move forward?

Hi I'm a lifetime subscription member in enpass. For the past week enpass has been malfunctioning with error sync repeatedly. I use enpass mostly on my mobile (android 10) & iPad pro (ipados 14). I'm repeatedly getting a sync error with onedrive and when I select the resolve option it shows that I purposely deleted the enpass file on onedrive and now I have to upload the enpass vault on my device to onedrive. But no matter how many times I do this the same error occurs after sometime. This happens on both my devices. Naturally changes I made in one device did not get synced to the other device. Open my the Enpass app this morning in my Android phone (Moto X Pure, Android 7.0) so that I can login to my router to change a few settings. Found out the app was auto updated to v6 (I had auto-update turned on in Google Play). App looked great at first. Entered my master password and thought I would be good to go. A few seconds into the app I was horrified that my passwords (100+) are missing. I saw this so called "Primary" vault with nothing in it. I thought maybe I just need to setup the sync to my Onedrive account to retrieve my passwords. So I went ahead and setup the sync. The app crashed 3-4 times along the way (not a good sign). There seems to be a bug with sync to Google drive that affects both my Mac and my Linux machines. If Enpass is left running through a sleep cycle, sync doesn't function after a wake-up. Enpass must be quit and restarted for sync to function again.

Hello, The sync using iCloud doesn't work for now two weeks... Running Enpass desktop v5.6.9 on my MBP with macOS 10.13.05, and Enpass v5.5.8 on my iOS devices (with iOS 11.4), I didn't have iCloud sync pb for years untill end of june... I already tried, with no success, to disconnect/reconnect iCloud on both, and also remove iCloud backup... Now when I try to disconnect/reconnect iCloud on macOS, I have "Error code: -116". Any ideas ? TIA Joachim.

I was fully disappointed with the latest version of enpass. I won’t detail the reasons. I have already found and started using an alternative solution, How may I safely and thoroughly clear *all* enpass-stored data from iCloud and all my Apple devices, delete the app from all of them, and then close my enpass account?

I activated the new update for Enpass on my windows laptop today. When I want to set the 'new' sync setting it opens Firefox and then a redirection button appears. When I click on that it wants me to open a .exe program to continue. I cannot find any enpass.exe file on my laptop. How must I go about?

Hi! A great feature would be to implement wi-fi sync without using any cloud service. For example, when your phone is connected on the same wifi as your computer, they automatically sync their data. That would be perfect for people who don't trust cloud services and only want their files to be stored locally.

Hello, I had serious trouble with the the sync with ms onedrive on all devices (mac/pc/ios/Android) because I have 2 Accounts. After some API changes is wasn't possible any more to use my onedrive private account. So I switched to icloud drive sync. Everything works again like a charm but I have to reconfirm every time the apple enpass permisson only on my my PC. I confirm via iphone and enter the 6 digit code. But the Browser Windows redirecting to enpass hangs forever: So my guess is that the permanent permissons are missing and therefore enpass restarts confirmation all over again. How can I fix this? Hello, I am having an issue because I want to share my OneDrive database with my family members. For my wife, under iOS, this is not an issue as when choosing "Existing database / OneDrive", the application ask anyway the account credentials so I just enter mine (my Microsoft account credentials) and it finds it and synchronize. But for my son, also sporting a Windows phone, the issue is that it looks directly in its OneDrive account, without asking me to enter the account credential (it picks up the account of the phone) and without anyway to change the account where to look. I really like Enpass and use it multiple Windows devices. Everything works fine. Then I activated OneDrive two factor authentication, and sync stopped working. I installed Enpass new device while havin 2FA enabled. It could read data from OneDrive, but after initial load sync didn't work. After disabling 2FA sync started working with every device. Any workarouds? Any fix coming up? Or is this stupid user error?

Hi, in old versions of Enpass, the WebDAV sync worked like a charm. But in the last versions it's broken - which makes Enpass almost useless. Earlier on, I could establish a WebDAV sync but after a while Enpass stopped syncing with the error message that the WebDAV password is wrong. The password didnt change but Enpass didn't accept the correct password without an error message. Deleting the sync and recreating it with exactly the same password worked for a while ... until Enpass once again stopped syncing ... What is the "Password of data?" Is it my OneDrive password, my Enpass password or something else? I had to reset Windows 10 on my Surface Go. I now want to set up Enpass again. When I get to restoring Enpass data from OneDrive (after signing into Microsoft Account) it says I need to be enter my "Password of data," or something like that. Neither password for Microsoft nor Enpass work. And candidly, I don't think I've saved another Enpass related password. Hi everyone, I'm writing because I have a strange sync issue with the app. First of all let me list my current setup to have some context: I mostly use Apple devices (MacBook Pro M1, iPad and iPhone) and a Windows 11 PC. Every device have the latest version of Enpass available, all setup with cloud sync on Google Drive. Yesterday I noticed that some recently updated passwords went back to the old ones. I suspect that one of my devices that I use less (maybe the iPad) pushed an old version of the password database to the cloud without checking if there was a newer version, and that led to new passwords being overwritten. Hi there, I'm behind a corporative proxy and I can't sync my database to Google Drive or Dropbox. I can authenticate to these services all right but Enpass for desktop (linux) just keeps syncing forever. I guess it's not using my system-wide proxy settings and I can't find netwok settings inside the app. Is there a way I can solve it?

On my main PC I am running Windows 10 (RTM) with Enpass 5.2.0 and, occasionally, I notice that the OneDrive sync seems to just stop working and when I go to check it is constantly synchronizing. If I disconnect the OneDrive sync and delete the Enpass folder from my OneDrive I am able to get the sync to work again normally.
