Cloud Sync

Hi there, since Nextcloud version 26.0.1 i get a sync problem with enpass: it shows "wrong password" when connecting. The same Problem appears if i try to connect to the Nextcloud server via WebDAV too. The Nextcloud server runs on debian 11.7. the Nextcloud version is 26.0.1 (and now 26.0.2) Enpass shows the same error on: OSX (version: 6.8.6) Linux PopOS (version: 6.8.5) IOS (Version 6.8.7) Hope there is a Fix on the horizon! I've been using Enpass for a few years now and am getting more and more frustrated by the fact that there always seems to be a another problem with the macOS version. If one problem is fixed, which easily take half a year, then another one pops up. For example, I managed to fix the 'Enpass Assistant is unable to connect with the Enpass app' error by de-installing the Enpass app and re-installing it from the App Store. However, since a month or so, Enpass wants me to re-authenticate my macOS iCloud session every day. I have three Macs with each a different macOS version and each of them wants me to re-authenticate daily, whether I am on Mojave / 10.14, Big Sur / …

Every few days or so, I get a notice on Empass that I need to Reauthenticate to sync with iCloud. This happens on each computer that I use Empass (iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini). Thankfully, the notice does not appear with such regularity on my iPhones or iPads. While it is somewhat easier to re-authenticate now that I have Touch ID on my computers, it is still an annoyance to have to do it so often. I have tried disconnecting from iCloud, then reconnecting again, making sure that the "Keep me signed in" box is checked, but the re-authenticate notice will show up again in another few days. Is this a bug in Enpass? If not, how do I fix it?

Dear Guys, is it possible to choose another folder than Google Drive's root when I am using the iOS and Windows app? Because everytime when I put it into a subfolder of Google Drive's root, the cloud sync in the iOS app is broken. If I set up the cloud sync in the iOS app again, a new Enpass folder gets created in Google Drive's root. Kind regards from Germany, Alex

Is there any difference in sync behavior/functionality between: - different cloud services; - Folder Sync with a folder in a local network; - (if this will work at all) Folder Sync with a folder on the device which is synchronized with a similar folder on another device through WiFi Direct. Hi, I posted a reply to a forum thread here: https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/1271-difference-between-sync-options/ I am trying to clarify if I can have the Enpass "Data Location" be the same as the Sync Service folder (ex. /home/user/Dropbox/Apps/Enpass/). Should I also turn sync on? Or is it recommended to have the "Data Location" be in a separate local only folder. Thanks,

Been using the Enpass & Nextcloud webdav sync for a long time without issue. Noticed today that sync isn't working. Keeps asking me for the password saying there is a mismatch. I can use the same password to login via the Nextcloud webui and also works for other webdav clients. (Gnome desktop Nextcloud integration being one) I'm using Nextcloud V12.0.0 and Enpass 5.5.3

Hello, My internet provider is proximus.be. Its cloud is http://www.proximuscloud.be/ What information should I enter in the URL of Enpass (WebDav) to have the synchronization ? I have tried several url but the connection does not happen.

Does cloud synchronization always transfer the whole database file or only changed items ?

Hello, I see here a vicious circle. Let me explain. In case of installing Enpass on a new device: (1) In order for the sync to work, I have to know the Dropbox password before the sync is set. (2) At that time, the Dropbox password is securely stored inside the Enpass file, on the cloud. Which means I do not know yet my Dropbox password. What solutions are available to this issue? I know, the simplest option is to keep Dropbox password out of the Enpass loop. But, personally, I do not like this idea too much. I also know this is not a question specific to Enpass, Dropbox, or Enpass+Dropbox. Thamk you.

Add "sync.com" to your supported clouds? Hello, (Full disclosure: I have no personal nor business relations with this provider nor any other, but have been looking for a long time.) Will the Canadian cloud provider sync.com be eventually supported by Enpass? Like most of the providers, their free account has more than enough free storage to be able to sync Enpass. Please consider them, as they seem to have very interesting privacy considerations, both technical and geographical. Thank you p.s. When I first started, I managed to sync 3 accounts. Since then Ive added 5 more items, but OneDrive has stopped synchronizing. I get error codes 108 and 120. What can I do to get this going?

Dear Enpass-Team, I purchased the full version of your app and now want to sync it via iCloud. I installed enpass on both my mac and my iPhone 8, both with newest OS updates. The following problem exists on both devices: I enter the master password/fingerprint unlock the app and then it says: Please enter master password for iCloud sync. Hi, If I set Enpass not to use any cloud sync feature, but instead use a software to sync local Enpass folder to the cloud storage, does that sync the database as well as all my settings among my device in real time? The reason is with the existing cloud sync infrastructure, any change in Enpass database password or cloud storage password could be a pain in the a$$ becuase we have to make corresponding change in each and every device. Hi I would like to settle a password manager self hosted on my nextcloud instance. Enpass is one of the solution eems to suit m needs. Not very skilled as developper and coding, i've managed to sync Enpass with my netcloud. But I haven't been able to chose in wich file my enpass archive has to me recorded in my nextcloud repository. Hello all, just got updated to Enpass 6 across my devices (iOS, Win10, MacOS) and my previously working sync with my Nextcloud is now broken. Error 908417 is shown on all devices. I already deleted my old Enpass sync-folder from Nextcloud - still no success... Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks! Solved: After switching from lighttpd to nginx, the problem is resolved. To the developers, if you create new data on the client ( PC or Smartphone ). actually the synchronization (after you have configured it) runs in the background independently in the interval. Unfortunately, no data is transferred although the connection to the NAS exists and the synchronization does not show any errors. Even if you select the Tresor explicitly and press the button " synchronize " manually, it looks like the process is running but after you synchronize the data set on the second device in the Tresor, there are no new data sets !! New Enpass user. Firefox is my default browser on both my desktop and my Android. Installed on my Android, and synced to my DropBox. Seems to work OK. Installed the Windows 10 client. Am unable to sync. Firefox is not able to "see" the Enpass file on my DropBox account. That is, when using Firefox, there does not appear to be any file in the Apps/Enpass directory on Dropbox. If I use Chrome, I can see the Enpass file is actually there on my DropBox account. Why can't Firefox see the file? I then made Chrome the default browser on my desktop and Android, and tried again. Is it possible to either a) setup sync to work while on a LAN only or b) do manual syncs across a LAN or with USB drives?

Hello All, Let me start that I am big fan of enpass against the countless password managers I used, I have an issue, I have one login info saved in vault and under that login info i have note which contains important data, for some reason the note got empty and I really need what's written on it, my only thought was since i sync it with gdrive and gdrive keep versions for last 30 days of files ususally is to get the copy of 24/october. thatsaid, the files are hidden there and I want to view them like normal file to get an old copy of file where my note is there. somehow enpass keep password history but not notes history :( Please hel…

Hello, I've seen that sync iCloud don't work. Don't work on windows 10 and Mac OS 10.15.1 . I think it's an issue in Enpass 6.3.1.

We have new phones. We downloaded the Enpass app on them. We can't access the data we had entered into the app on our old phones. Can anyone offer insight on this? I don't remember if or where we might have indicated to back up data.
