  1. hey,

I recently switched to an iPhone and autofill doesn’t work very well.

Enpass always tries to autofill using email even when the website is asking for a username.

I can reproduce this error 100% of the time with absolutely every single website that wants a username instead of an email for login.

    For example: https://bethesda.net/en/dashboard?cogs_modal=login&redirect_to=transaction-history%2Fproduct-codes&redirect_to_site=accountsSite

It works on my android phone, it works on my mac (macOS), and I’m pretty sure it works on my PC (Windows). It only fails on iPhone.

I have an iPhone 15 pro max, with iOS 17

I also tested on another iPhone (pro 12, iOS 16) with a different enpass account. Same issue.

This makes Enpass very hard to use on iPhone.

    Thanks

  2. It would be great if enpass had the ability to generate usernames and email addresses. That would help users be more secure while increasing their privacy online.

I currently generate my usernames using https://www.spinxo.com. It works well but it's an extra step I wish I didn't have to do.

For emails, we could have a list of custom domain and a list of address that supports the + format. Like "mydomain.tld" and "myname@gmail.com". When adding a new login, we'd have the ability to pick an address/domain from this list and enpass would generate a unique address based on the selection. Like "[something-random]@mydomain.com" and "myname+[something-random]@gmail.com"

Those features are supported by bitwarden so I'm assuming it's something other users will find useful.  https://bitwarden.com/help/generator/#generate-a-username

  3. That's great to hear. I'm definitely fine with Rosetta too. I've seen people talking about Qt not running on ARM yet so I was afraid it would not work at all. When people say "it doesn't work" they very rarely specify what they mean by that (not running at all or requiring Rosetta).

  4. I just ordered a new Mac mini, but I won't be able to use it at all if Enpass doesn't work on it. I looked around and I haven't seen anyone talking about it but I did see a bunch of posts saying that enpass doesn't work at all on ARM Linux, and is not natively supported on ARM Windows, which scares me a lot. Is enpass currently working natively or even with Rosetta on ARM macs?
