Hi all,
Thanks for your feedback. We have added the functionality of auto-popup of Touch ID dialog in case of Enpass Assistant. There you don't need to click on the Touch ID icon.
This behavior in the main app could have been irritating, forcing you to enter Touch ID in case you have brought it in the foreground while browsing through Desktop.
Alternatively, you can use the shortcut (Cmd+.) to bring the Touch ID verification dialog in front.
In the coming updates, we'll add an option on Touch Bar to unlock with Touch ID.
Thanks for your co-operation.
To be honest I find it irritating that an "Touch ID enabled App" prefers Password entry at the first place. Find it quite annoying. Maybe a second option to have Touch ID also as standard in the desktop would be a solution.
About the "Enpass Assistant"... don't use that at all as I need to have the password in the copy&paste memory (I'll open another topic for this)
Enpass Assistant does not simply provide password

Hi,
I don't use the Enpass Assistant at all as it does not fit to my personal way how I use Enpass (based on this I also highly require direct Touch ID support in the desktop app!).
This is how I use Enpass:
Based on this, the Assistant does not help. When I open it, search for an entry and click on it, the assistant tries to open the linked page and (if wanted) logs on (which does not work due to my password philosophy). Here a simple "click on the entry = copy the password" would help. So I have to use the "I" icon to first scroll and copy the username (so far, so good) which I can paste. But then the Assistant closes so I have to reopen it, click again on the "I" icon to again scroll and copy the password.
It would be great if this way of using the assistant could be improved (e.g. offer directly 2 icons for each entry (or the selected one; see image) on the right of the list to copy the username and the password directly)
