VulcanRidr Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 I would like to see, if not the desktop client, at least the browser plugin. I am on a TrueOS (FreeBSD variant) desktop machine, and when I tried to install the Firefox version on my Firefox 53.0.2 installation, it said the browser was incompatible. I have an almost even split on my network between BSD and Linux, so any solution I choose must have a BSD component. Is there a BSD version in the cards?
Guest Vikram Dabas Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Hi @VulcanRidr Thanks for dropping a line. I'm sorry to say as currently we don't have any plans for the BSD support.
VulcanRidr Posted June 6, 2017 Author Report Posted June 6, 2017 Even if it is as simple as recompiling the Linux version?
Guest Vikram Dabas Posted June 7, 2017 Report Posted June 7, 2017 Hi @VulcanRidr I understand that at first look it just seems recompilation, but every new platform addition brings lot of efforts in implementing platform specific changes, release cycle management, testing and support, and at this moment we are too busy to support a new platform. Thanks for your understanding!
