Adomas Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 Hello, I decided to move from KeePassXC to Enpass. Over time I have collected a lot of passwords in my KeePassXC database. Is there an easy way to import these passwords to Enpass? Maybe there is some sort of script for that? Running Arch Linux, Enpass 6.2.0 (537)
Pratyush Sharma Posted January 10, 2020 Report Posted January 10, 2020 Hi, Thanks for showing interest in Enpass. Currently, Enpass doesn't support a direct import from KeyPassXC. Although, you can try importing data via CSV file. For more details, check this FAQ and let us know if you face any problem.
RichieG Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 That FAQ is for Windows; how might one import a CSV file of passwords to Enpass on Linux? I looked but didn't find anything. Thanks
Pratyush Sharma Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Hi @RichieG, Thanks for writing back. We would like to inform you that the import functionality is same for desktop devices so please follow the steps on the Linux device and revert to us.
RichieG Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 I've since found the FIND > IMPORT menu item but the dialog window to choose a file from doesn't see the CSV file I am trying to import from. Thanks!
Pratyush Sharma Posted March 4, 2021 Report Posted March 4, 2021 Hi @RichieG, While importing a CSV, the Select File dialog has an option in the bottom right to choose between All files and Document files. Please choose All files and then you'd see the CSV file to import. For more details check attached screenshot. Hope this helps!
