I have been producing software since 1982...  I've rarely seen disasters like that ...
companies that do this fail /bankrupt 99% times

users (especially if paying) do not ever adapt to you: they just leave! ... it is "you" who must adapt to the customers ...
otherwise you would have done much better to leave everything stopped as it worked!
