  1. User Interface issues: the new user interface is counter-intuitive compared to Windows desktop norms, for example - having to go to the far right of the screen for the menu which would normally be on the left; Save being at the top of edit panels rather than at the bottom; close being the top left of the panel rather than the top right, etc. Also on large screens it is quite a hassle when clicking on the plus to create a new entry (which is on the left hand side of the screen) for the edit panel to pop out on the far right of the screen. It is also confusing when you need to use the main menu (horizontal line icon) versus the settings menu (cog icon) - e.g. why is create a newVault under the settings menu (cog) rather than the main menu (horizontal lines) Identical password list picks up archive entries: The list of accounts with identical passwords picks up passwords from Archived items although the Archived items are not displayed. To duplicate, in an empty vault create two items - the first with Username Test1 and Password password, and the second with Username Test2 and Password password. Select Test2 and move to the Archive. If you select Identical in the Audit list in the left panel, one account Test1 is listed (because it shares a password with the unlisted Test2 account in Archive). Identical password audit no longer grouped by password - the ability to see which accounts share a password is useful but has been removed in Enpass 6. No longer possible to search by password - if, for example, you know a particular password has been compromised in Enpass 5 you could search using the password and see a list of all items with that password. In Enpass 6 it appears that the password is no longer indexed Password history is lost when moving an item between vaults. In an empty vault, create a new item (Username Test1, Password password1). Edit and change the Password to password2. If you right click on the Password field you get "History" in the menu through which you can view the original password (password1). Move the item to a different vault. Now right clicking on the password field in the Item in the new vault no longer displays history. When are we likely to see a new build of the desktop (e.g. with webdav support). thanks, Matthew
  2. I have tested it today and it was a good experience so far. Restore backup from Enpass 5 works great- everything was imported, tags are created correctly- nice! Safari, Chrome and Firefox Extension work as expected in general Save for a new item works Keyboard autofill works in most times- sometimes it does not work- I had to reset the keyboard shortcut in Safari Autofill for matching logins does not work at all- sometimes it does not autofill although the url is exactly the same Touch-ID works, but is not very user-friendly- I always have to click on the touch-id button in the login screen (same as Enpass 5) before we can use the fingerprint- can we hope for a better handling? Wifi-Sync, Emergency Kit and Check for Pwned passwords are greyed out- I expect that these things will be in the next beta... Suggestions: It would be nice to be able to collapse the sidebar. Please enable a visible drag&drop indicator for moving the sidebar - currently you do not see any changing mouse cursor Please show more icons by default instead of hiding them behind the burger menu (three dots)- for example, the history of a field could be shown besides the copy button or the edit button of an item. Filling basic auth dialogs in all browsers with the extensions do not work- is this correct? It does not work in Chrome even in Enpass 5.6 and not in Enpass 6 Env: MacOS 10.13.4 (17E199)
  3. Hi, I just installed the new Beta and it's looking good so far. It's a bummer that WebDAV sync and Firefox support isn't ready yet but hopefully in the next beta it will be. Just wanted to give a few of my first impressions of some things I noticed. No autofocus on search bar while changing icons: When you go to change an icon, it displays a new sliding area with the images and a search bar at the top, it would be nice if it autofocus so we can start searching immediately and avoid a click. While editing an entry, Esc doesn't close: If you're on settings or changing an icon, pressing the Esc key will close the option and take you back. If you're editing an entry, pressing Esc won't do anything. Importing credit cards changes the type of card: On Enpass 5, the credit card entries had an special field called "Type" and it was a dropdown with options as Visa, Mastercard, etc... On Enpass 6, that kind of field is gone so importing credit cards show the new Type as "discover - Discover". Crash after importing backup: This has been reported already. After importing a backup from Enpass 5, the app crashes and requires a restart. Display different categories per vault: While you can add new categories per vault, the default categories will display the same way for all vaults. For example, I don't use a "Travel" category on my work vault but I do use it on my personal vault, but if I hide it, it will hide it on both vaults. Changing vaults resets the view on the sidebar: I like to minimize the "Password Audit" section on the sidebar, but if I change vaults, it will reset the view and expand again the "Password Audit" section. Those are the first things I noticed but I like where this is going, specially having more icons! Hopefully the next beta will have more features to explore.
