Cant open Enpass with no internet connection

Featured Replies

Enpass on Android does not open up when I have no internet connection available. Before the big update this was not the case. Please report this as a bug. Thanks

Hey @CT94,

Welcome to the forums.

It's strange to read as Enpass doesn't require an active network connectivity while opening or logging in.

Could you please share the Android version, the Enpass version and the device name? Also, do you face any error or an issue while opening Enpass without an active internet connection?

Thanks.

I am seeing this as well. When I don't have an internet connection, Enpass accepts my credentials and then just displays the blue screen with the padlock. Restarting the app doesn't help, the problem reproduces again. Works normally once I have an internet connection.

Hey @MichaelS,

Thanks for sharing the details; we've cascaded the same for testing. Could you also please confirm whether you were using any cloud to sync the Enpass data before facing this issue? And, does Enpass demonstrate this behaviour with mobile cellular data or WiFi or both?

Hi, just to say that I'm having the same problem. To me it happens without wifi (not specifically tested with wifi), when the cellular signal is low or missing. These are my phone specs:

- Enpass: 6.3.4.298

- Android: 9

- Device: Oneplus 3T

- Cloud sync: Google Drive

Hope this helps, it's a very serious problem for me. Thanks.
