Which Enpass version you are using Website or Store? Goto System Preferences --> Touch ID --> Check Touch ID is Enabled. Also let us know are you facing this issue when you are using your system is Clamshell mode? Thanks for your co-operation.

February 15, 20206 yr I also have this issue, started suddenly today just after My MacBook Pro 2018 updated to 10.14.6. Moreover if I try to enable PIN the following message is shown, in which you can clearly understand that the touch id was previously configured:
