2FA Authenticator in Enpass

Featured Replies

Authy makes a desktop version of it's authenticator - how awesome would it be to have the functionality right in Enpass! Just press the hotkey and it recognizes the site your on and pulls up the associated 2FA code. That would be so awesome!!

Hey @skinneejoe

Thanks for using Enpass and writing to us.

Enpass already has the feature of TOTP or 2FA code to log in to compatible website(s). To know more, please have a look at this link to our user manual. Let me know if you have any concerns.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Garima Singh

I have read this manual, you've pointed, and i think @skinneejoe mean different think.

I would like to see in enpass the same functionality like in google authenticator, where i can scan qr code and attach this function into specific credentials record in Enpass.

For now there is no such feature. I have to store previously saved img file with qr code associated with the service (google account, hetzner, etc.)

And for now TOTP feature i useless because there is no way to scan qr code with the value. There are  a lot of sites that supports qr codes, but do not show secret text value that is used by authenticator.
