February 12, 20224 yr Dear Community, I can not choose the data location on my MacBook macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Because the "browse button" is greyed out, see the attached screenshot. What else can I do??? Thank you for your help in advance.
February 13, 20224 yr How is the USB stick formatted? FAT32/ExFAT, NTFS, HFS+, APFS? (Use Get Info while tge usb stick is the primary focus in the Finderto check.) Are you able to write files to the USB stick on your Mac?
February 14, 20224 yr Author Hello, I formatted the USB Stick in FAT32 and ExFat and HFS+ but none of these are working, always the same error. Yes I can write files to the stick on my Mac.
February 14, 20224 yr Go into Privacy and Security and add Enpass Portable to Full Disk Access. That is what I had to do to get it to work. macOS restricts apps from reading/writing stuff to your computer from downloads and other temporary areas.
February 17, 20224 yr Hi @Bambi, Welcome to the Enpass Community. This generally happens when you are attempting to launch the portable version from the Mac itself. I would recommend you to move the file to the USB pendrive and choose the desired location from there. #SI-2623
February 20, 20224 yr Author Hi Discordant and Gulshan Dogra, I added to Full Disk Access in Privacy and Security, still the same error. For example, when I use the old version EnpassPortable_6.0.7 on my USB pen is everything nice working. I tried different USB pens always the problem. Any other ideas?? Thank you for your support
March 2, 20224 yr Hi @Bambi and @Discordant, I would like to share that this issue has been replicated on our end as well, and our team is working on a fix that will be released in a future version of Enpass. Thank you for your patience and understanding. #SI-2623
November 6, 20223 yr This happens in Linux as well on all devices that I tested. When will this fix be released?
December 17, 20223 yr Hey Enpass Team, any chance that this problem will ever be fixed? Enpass 6 Portable on Mac still not working with the same problems like described above.
