Windows 10 - Browsers - high cpu load

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've only noticed today after an hour of troubleshooting that the Enpass extension in Firefox and Edge is to blame for high cpu usage when typing in the comment section on Youtube and Reddit. When I start to type there the letters appear very slowly long after I typed the full words/sentence already. Laptop fan starts blasting 5 seconds after the system has been mostly idle for a while. Memory doesn't seem to change much tho.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the Enpass app. Additionally, try temporarily disabling the Enpass browser extension and check whether the issue still occurs.

If the issue persists, please email us directly at support@enpass.io so our support team can investigate and help resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Yes it's the latest release aka 6.11.12.1997 (the exe version, not the one from the Windows Store). And yes ofcourse I disabled the browser extension since last week after I found it was Enpass causing it. I just tried again now and it's still happening.
