I’ve added my own categories to my Enpass vault. Now I’d like to create custom templates for entries within my own categories. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible because the drop-down menu for categories only shows the default categories.

Is there a way to create a custom template for my custom category? If so, how do I go about it?

A few corrections.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but under Settings (the cogwheel on top right) and then follow my screenshot. Search for "Customize" and then on the lowest entry you can create your own templates.

This is however not category bound.

Thank you very much for your response, @AnakinCaesar. My question concerned the fact that categories I created myself are not displayed in the category selection when creating a template.

I have since analyzed the issue in more detail and have determined that the problem is a UI error. The categories I created myself appear at the bottom of the category list and cannot be moved; the category list is static (see Image_1).

The dialog box for creating a template for a folder entry is relatively small and also static, so it cannot be expanded by the user, for example, by scrolling down. As a result, the drop-down category field at the bottom of the template dialog box is cut off. It is not possible to scroll within it. As a result, the categories I created that are located in the lower section are not visible in the drop-down field (see Image_2, arrow).

I will forward this information to the developers as a support request and ask them to find a solution for this.
