Autofill doesn´t work for Firefox 63.0.1 (64-bit) with Windows 10 Pro

Featured Replies

Hello,

I use

- Windows 10 Pro
- Firefox 63.0.1 (64-bit)
- Enpass Password Manager Desktop Version 5.6.19 (5548) Store Version
- Enpass Password Manager extension for Firefox 5.5.2
- Native Messaging for Enpass 5.5.2.0

and the autofill doesn´t work.

Example: https://discussion.enpass.io/

What can I do?

Thanks,

Telenic

It is probably an incompatibility with Firefox 63.0.1 because  I have the same issue on MacOS X 10.14.

Today I used the Traditional Win32 Version 5.6.9 together with the correspondet Firefox addon Version 5.5.2 and ...

... the autofill doesn´t work.

I sent two requests to support team. I don´t get a ticket number or a feedback.

Hey @Telenic,

Sorry for the trouble you are going through.

To investigate further on this issue we want a little input from our side. So please run the following command in Terminal and share the output at support@enpass.io

  • netstat -ano | findstr 10391

If this doesn't show any result, please try 10391 to 10395.

Also, please let me know are you using any Antivirus or third part security related extension? And are you facing the same problem with other browsers (Chrome/Opera) too?

Thanks for your co-operation.

I have downgraded to Firefox 62.0.3 and it works again. I guess this is an incompatibility in the latest Firefox.

Sadly this worked only once. But I have found the issue. I had turned on the option in Prefrences -> Browser -> This system-wide hotkey will launch Enpass helper. After turning it off the helper started working again.
