Webroot engine detects EnpassPortable.exe as Win 32.Malware.gen, which is entirely based on its heuristics. This is certainly a false positive and we have submitted it to Webroot support.

Is there any chance to have a portable windows version of Enpass 6.1.1 or newer?

On my company's PC I'm not allowed to install a program (no admin).

But the old portable 6.0.7 still works. But missing the enhancements of 6.1.+.

Where can I download the portable?

I looked at the downloads section https://www.enpass.io/downloads/    and can't find any mention of portable.   Everything I find still references the old V5 ... with a few references to beta 6 version of portable --- 5 months ago.

No it's not like that. You can use Enpass portable on Windows 7 and later versions too.

BUT: It's very bad, that the portable version isn't updated for a long lime.

I need a portable version for Windows 7, because on my company laptop I am not allowed to install anything.

They offer me to use KeePass - but why different managers?

I'm now on v6.3 on Mac/Windows, but I heavily require an updated portable one.

Would also like to see an actual portable version of enpass. I am also working for a company where it is forbidden to install software. 

The actual version 6.0.7 (301) forget the location of the database after restart of the computer.

My System: Win10 (1709)

hi,

i downloaded v6.0.7 and unzipped the download zip-file to a local folder on my Windows pc (8.1 pro, customer pc);

when i run the EnpassPortable application, i get the error: "the program can't start because msvcp140.dll is missing form your computer. ...";

which is strange, because in the EnpassPortable_6.0.7\Windows\Program Files\VCRuntimeDlls folder (which i also unzipped from the supplied VCRuntimeDlls.zip file) , i can see that the supposed missing file is present;

what can i do about this (because i don't have administrator rights on my pc, which was the reason i downloaded this portable version...)

We are under the process of releasing the next stable versions for Enpass mobile and desktop. However, we'll also be planning to release an updated version of Enpass portable in the future.
