What version of SQLCipher is Enpass using? Noting 4.2.0 was released today.

I have some excel password protected workbooks. How do I get enpass to be able to open them?

How do I remove all data and any evidence of Enpass on a MAC (that I will no longer own) but ensure it stays with me on other devices? (I use it in iCloud to sync my use of Enpass on different devices).

Hello, I sync this file vault.enpassdbsync on my PC and Anroid using Dropbox. When I try to open this file .enpassdbsync on Android, a message appears that the master password is incorrect. If I backup on a PC and select .enpassbackup on the phone, then everything works fine. Do I understand correctly that I cannot recover passwords from a file .enpassdbsync? Why is this file needed?

There are always unforeseen circumstances, and if your site suddenly becomes unavailable, there should be a backup site for downloading installation files. Create a GitHub account and distribute your releases there. Downloading from a third-party site (softportal, softpedia) is not safe, but it’s safe to download from an official github account.

Master-password - Open database; Destruct-password - Deletes all data or makes it unsuitable for decryption. This can be done?

Maybe you read the headlines: There was a massive iPhone hack. A Google team has found that thousands of iPhones were hacked - just by visiting a infected website. This allowed the attackers comprehensive access to the data in the iPhone: WhatsApp, Signal, SMS, gps-location, photos, contacts and - yes - even the keychain with the passwords should have been open. An incredible Bug! My question: Was Enpass also affected? Could attackers - even theoretically - read the passwords from the Enpass database? As far as I know, Enpass uses the iOS keychain to store the masterpassword, if you use biometric unlock. Who knows more?

Hello, not sure if this is the correct forum to address this. Please move it if I chose wrong. Im getting a sync error on my corporate network because our firewall is not allowing enpass to get through. I try to sync with onedrive and i get redirected to onedrive, login and it makes the connection, but still get a sync error. This works as it should when im outside our corporate network so I suspect our firefall settings. I have asked our IT department to do an exempt for Enpass in the proxy but i need to know what url/port we need to whitelist. Anyone who can help me with this? Thanks!

Hi, one of the reasons why i preferred Enpass over other password managers like Lastpass and 1password was that the developers just distribute the binary, and everything else like sync and so on was completely in my own hands. No connections to other servers, nothing. This was great, since i believe a password manager should do as little communication as possible. Until now i was very happy with Enpass. Hi All, I have 2 mobile device and desktop syncing the 200+ passwords over google drive. Yesterday I format the desktop and reinstalled again. I've installed enpass and entered the google drive credentials its askes for a vault password. open pass of enpass are the same on 3 devices. but I cannot sync the master vault from google dive. how can I sycn it? kind regards and thanks for your helps

Hi there, i recently moved to a new MacBook with Touch ID. Up to now I always entered my master password and had to plugin my usb device with the keyfile to unlock Enpass. Now I noticed that I can unlock Enpass just using Touch ID. The keyfile is no longer required. How is this possible? This was a totally unexpected behaviour for me. How is this working, I mean the keyfile must be cached/stored somehow to achieve this right? Is it possible to disable this "feature"?

I can't see how to protect one portion of data (vault, folder, category ... whatever) with password (PIN preferably) fro other users with access to Enpass. EXAMPLE (real life) Company has xxx devices but used by anybody. How to enable that user can add his private (professional) data to device. Logical solution is Vault, especially as can be separately synced (great feature), but problem is that such Vault is publicly visible by default to other Enpass users. Is it possible to do and how?

In the security settings it is clearly stated, that when using biometrics the master password has to be entered after a restart. However, after I restart my android phone I am still able to login with just my fingerprint. In my opinion either the description or the behaviour has to be updated. Better would be the behaviour since the password is currently stored somewhere on the device.

How do I save my passwords in another format, say Excel or Word, and/or make a printout?

I use Enpass on my Windows PC (main usage), Iphone and Ipad. Because of a bug, the iCloud Sync does not work. As I have seen, there is a possibility to export a backup file to your mobile phone via the WLAN. My question is , is this methode safe and will the file you transfer on the link (the IP-adrees link, you have enter on the PC) is stored? Or will the file or the link be deleted directly after export on the phone?

I am a big fan of Enpass in China. However, I find Enpass take so much CPU time and send/receive so much traffic through internet. As a password manager app, I believe it do not need use CPU so often, or it do not need to send traffic so much.

It would be nice if the keyfile were saved (and synced between devices) on the iCloud Keychain, the way it's done on 1Password and RememBear, to name two. This would make using a keyfile completely transparent to iOS users (and allow it to be enabled by default), and it could still be synced to non-iOS devices (or other iOS devices if iCloud Keychain isn't enabled) by QR code.

Hi I have several vaults in my Enpass account. One of them is shared with my employees for company passwords, synced through our company's Google account. It is set on my account as a second vault, but on other computers in our company it is the main vault, and they all use the same password to login. Good morning, I report an annoying issue about windows hello authentication mode. That's to say Enpass software does not allow me to acces by windows hello id wheter it's the first time i open enpass after switch on, so I'm copelled to use general enpass password.
