Hi, I have installed enpass (version 6.0.0.230) and icon does not appear in top bar. I can see the menu (display assistant, restore, quit) if i click where is supposed to be the icon. What is curious is that enpass-beta (version 6.0.0.149) present also in the repository's provided for Ubuntu displays the icon..?! If someone has a solution... Thx.

Hi, I am using the tiling window manage i3. I have a few workspaces (1-9) between which I switch via hotkeys. Windows are handled a bit different and each window is assigned to a workspace. After updating to Enpass6, I opened it on workspace 9. I also see the tray icon now in my polybar (also some custom menu bar app). When I'm on a different workspace now (for example 2) in the browser and click on the enpass browser extension icon, nothing happens. This is because the context window of Enpass (which shows all matching logins) is now opened on workspace 9 where the original enpass app was opened. Syncing with webdav crashes the App on Android and Linux. I deleted the Library on the webdav site and Android creates a new one. Same Problem as before. Both (Linux and Android) are crashing when they try to sync with webdav.

I have Enpass 5.6.0 on an Ubuntu machine (17.10) I wanted to upgrade it to 6.0.0 so I followed the download Instructions the application doesn't start. When attepting to run /opt/enpass/Enpass in console, it returns "Core Dumped" I've tried purging the application, removing everything I can find related to Enpass, and reinstall but it still core dumps. Any ideas?

Is this a permanent situation or will 32 bit support be provided in the future?

Inspired by the below discussion, I decided to pack up Enpass 6 into a AppImage for those who don't want to have to do all the work to get it on an unsupported distro like Gentoo, Void, etc. Just download it, mark it executable, and run it. I have yet to FULLY test it, but so far it works for me. I expect that auto-start on boot/log-in won't work yet, though. If there's enough interest in this, and Sinew isn't against it ( or better yet, hires me to maintain it officially ), I'll do more thorough testing and get auto-start working. Hi support team, Updated my Linux Lubuntu 18.10 (64 bit) with new Enpass V6.0.0.230 and then today with V6.0.1.239 and it's eating my CPU processing power after entering password. It especially locks up when entering into "Settings" section of application. As it stands the update is not very user friendly when accessing my passwords/logins and it's very slow. I don't know if any other users are experiencing this issue. The machine is a 64 bit Acer Netbook D255e and CPU is a Intel Atom N455 (1.66GHz, 512KB cache), RAM 2GB. Hello, I notice that the search box only returns the occurrences found in the main title part and not in the other parts such as notes, url, etc. ..?! It worked as expected in version 5.6.9; Could you make sure to resume this behavior in the new version of Enpass. Thank you.

On the last one, I have some display troubles. Mouse is hidden in main window and in notification window. I can see change in focus when I use keyboard, but mouse icon is overlapped by the content of the window frame. And when I do un screenshot, window frame is not fullfilled. Is some one can help me ? The Enpass Desktop application configured with the Portuguese language does not allow typing of accented characters in the text fields when we try to edit it. However, if we copy any text that contains accented characters and paste in the same text fields, in the Enpass, it allows the insertion of this text normally. How can we do to type accented characters, such as (á, ê, ú), in the Enpass text fields?

The new version slides out a small note editing area that cannot be adjusted instead of opening an editing window like the last version. Some of my notes are several pages long and I need at least 120+ character width. Is there any way to change this?

Hi, I have just installed Kubuntu Ver 18.04 and tried to install Enpass 6. Unfortunately when I attempt the "apt-get install enpass" I receive an error stating"........Unmet Dependencies Enpass: Depends: CURL but it is not installable....." Can you assist please?

I am about ready to bail on this product. The release 6 upgrade is a disaster on Linux Mint, and apparently other Distros. I went through the "libcurl" issue and found a solution posted here (install libcurl3). The next issue was not being able to set up sync with Dropbox. The problem is when you "allow" the access in Dropbox it generates a new tab with a "enpassauth://" URL, and the browser says it doesn't know what to do with it. This was on 18.3, and Enpass would start fine and the GUI worked - just the sync was broken. I updated to Mint 19, and it was still broken exactly the same way. In Enpass 6, I can't see history of password changes. Everyone here (in other topics) says that each individual field in a record now has history, but I don't see a way to display it. This is what I have when I right-click a field: It was possible to see history before in Enpass 5. My Enpass version is 6.0.1 (239) on Archlinux (through AUR).

Is there a way to get an Enpass 6 version of the installer for Linux? I am using Fedora Silverblue and even though you can install RPMs there is (still) an issue with installing RPMs that write to /opt (the issue is documented here: https://github.com/projectatomic/rpm-ostree/issues/233). Is it somehow possible to just extract the binary from the rpm (or the deb) and start it like one could run enpass < 6? The better solution (for me and for all Fedora users) would obviously to provide a flatpak but I already read that you are still waiting for the snap/flatpak think to settle. Is that still the case? Hi - I'm running Enpass 6.0.1 (239) on Ubuntu 18.0.4. I have created 12 customized templates, and I can select from any of these when adding a new item. Great! However, when I go to "Settings > Customize > Templates", I can only see 10 of the templates in the Existing Custom Templates pane. This means I can't edit, or delete the other, non-displayed templates. Is there a restriction on the number of templates that can be created, or is it a bug, or am I missing something fundamental? Cant sync with my webdav. I tried to delete the data on the server and sync again. I get always the message: Data not found. But the data is on the server. This happens on Linux and Android. P.S.: Please provide a flatpak for Enpass

In enpass 5 I changed the path of the enpass data. Now after the upgrade to version 6 enpass does not find the data. After start I can only create a new user. How can I solve this problem?

I used Enpass on 1 machine, and have now installed it on another one. I would like to use the database of the 1st machine, but have not found a way in the settings to do so. I use Enpass version 6 on both machines which are Linux. Please advise.
